Hello my name is Tim Foreman and I'm the General Manager of Gewehr Werks. Our story begins with my grandfather and Master Tool Maker, Joe Lauber, born in 1900. The Lauber family was rooted in Germany and contributed greatly to the German machine and tool industry. After his retirement in 1965 he started a small custom shop here in Southwestern Ohio, Lauber's Custom Guns. We specialized in custom one off gun builds and high-end restorations. By 1979, Lauber's had evolved into an industry leader with a client base that we enjoy to this day!

Now, three generations later it has become my responsibility to ensure that our products remain the best in the industry. I started on the production floor and that is where I remain; this is not an "absentee ownership" and Mr. Lauber's influence can still be seen in our products today. We are still located in the Miami Valley and we are proud to remain family owned. We operate using the same practices that Mr. Lauber started, and our manufacturing processes have remained the same. We still strive to produce the highest quality firearms in the industry.
